According to sources, Tahir Hussain Andrabi, a senior diplomat, will soon be named the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ spokeswoman.
Andrabi currently holds the position of Additional Foreign Secretary, according to specifics.
The choice came after Pakistan’s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Shafqat Ali Khan, was appointed.
Andrabi has held diplomatic positions in Geneva and previously served as Pakistan’s ambassador to Tunisia.
