National weather data for September 2025 has been released by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
September saw 32.5 mm of rain on average nationwide, which is 52% more than usual. The most rainfall, 110 mm, was reported in Thatta, Sindh, on September 10.
The hottest spots in Balochistan during the month were Turbat and Sibi. In the last 65 years, September 2025 was the seventh warmest month in Pakistan.
With a minimum temperature of 11.3 degrees Celsius on average, Skardu in Gilgit-Baltistan was the coldest location.
