A conference between the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and representatives of oil marketing businesses was convened to discuss the nation’s high-speed diesel (HSD) stockpiles.
Important decisions were made at the meeting, according to an OGRA representative, including the suspension of September cargo shipments for significant import oil marketing organizations.
The spokesperson added that three cargo shipments scheduled for October will be canceled or altered, and that cargo shipments slated for December may also be canceled if necessary.
Current cargo shipments that are already inside the nation are to be kept in bonded storage and won’t be put up for sale until the end of September, under OGRA’s directive.
