Sport reports that RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko, a striker in the Bundesliga, is expected to extend his contract with the team, despite rumors circulating that he is being chased by several Premier League teams.
This summer, the 21-year-old was linked to moves to Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal.
Sesko is a member of the Slovenian squad for Euro 2024, when his nation will play England, Denmark, and Serbia. He scored 14 goals in 31 games during his first season in the Bundesliga.
Sesko stayed with Red Bull Salzburg for the next season after deciding to join Leipzig in the summer of 2022, and then he moved to Germany on a five-year contract with a release clause of approximately £55 million.
However, he will now sign a better contract with a team that placed fourth in the Bundesliga the previous season due to interest from other teams.
Sesko will resign from RB Leipzig.
