The Raees actor has been associated with the awards in a number of capacities since their inception in 2000. He has taken on the roles of host, performer, star, and IIFA award winner on the stage.
At the 2017 IIFA Awards in New York, he was given special distinction for reaching 25 years in the industry.
Best Actor for Veer-Zaara (2005), Best Actor for Devdas (2003), and Best Actor for My Name is Khan (2011) are just a few of the several IIFA accolades that he has received.
