DUBAI: On Tuesday afternoon, a residential structure in Dubai’s crowded Al Barsha neighborhood unexpectedly caught fire.
But thanks to the prompt response of Dubai Civil Defence and the use of cutting-edge “Shaheen Drones,” the fire was soon contained.
Officials say the drones helped put out the fire right away after emergency personnel got on the scene six minutes after getting the complaint.
Thankfully, no one was hurt, and residents were safely evacuated.
