On May 27, the day she turned 18, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt filed the petition to change her name to Shiloh Jolie in Los Angeles County Superior Court, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The third oldest of the six children of the former spouse is Shiloh, who voices herself in the movie Kung Fu Panda 3.
Although some of the others have stopped using their father’s last name in public in recent years, she is the first to file a petition for a legal name change, the publication noted.
Along with Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and the twins Knox and Vivienne, there are other siblings.
Although the specifics of the divorce have not yet been finalized, Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September 2016.
The stars, who tied the knot in August 2014, have been involved in legal disputes with one another in recent years over their joint business endeavors and property, which includes a French winery.
According to court documents from October 2022, Jolie accused Pitt of being “emotionally and physically abusive” toward the actress and her kids.
She stated that in September 2016, she was traveling by plane when a string of violent occurrences occurred, which finally prompted her to file for divorce.
