According to a spokesman for the Toba district police, Sub Inspector (SI) Ansar detained the suspect, Abid Abbas, on Sunday from his home in Chak 262-RB, Faisalabad.
In a case filed by Nawan Lahore police under sections 302 and 392 of the PPC, the suspect was sought for allegedly shooting one Nadeem dead on May 25 at Chak 343 JB for putting up resistance during a heist.
According to a police spokeswoman, the suspect became ill as soon as he was brought to the police station and was treated at the Nawan Lahore Rural Health Centre (RHC), where the physician pronounced him dead.
