DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has chastised Pakistan’s top-order batsman Sidra Amin for violating its code of conduct during the Women’s Cricket World Cup match against India.
The premier cricketing body claims that the right-handed hitter broke Article 2.2 of the ICC Code of Conduct, which deals with “abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings during an International Match.”
Harmanpreet Kaur, the captain of India, caught Sidra at square-leg off Sneh Rana on the last delivery of the 40th over.
