From August 1 to August 6, there will be intense monsoon rains in Pakistan, including Islamabad, according to a warning from the Meteorological Department.
Significant rainfall is anticipated in some areas, along with thunderstorms, severe gusts, and hail.
In Kashmir and Muzaffarabad, severe winds, thundershowers, and a lot of rain and hail are predicted from July 31 to August 6. Islamabad, Sargodha, and other places should also expect rain along with thunder and lightning; stormy rain is forecast in numerous places.
Because of the anticipated heavy rain, the meteorological agency has issued warnings about possible flooding in mountains, rivers, and streams in areas like Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
From August 2 to August 5, Sialkot, Gujranwala, and Narowal are also under risk of urban flooding.The agency has called attention to the possibility of landslides in the mountainous regions of Balochistan, Miri, Galiyat, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Strong infrastructure may sustain damage from the intense rain, wind, and thunder, a representative for the Meteorological Department warned.
