KARACHI: The Sindh government launched a “Floating Solar Power” project at Keenjhar Lake, which is roughly 36 kilometers from Thatta city, with the goal of helping electricity users, News reported on Thursday.
The “Floating Solar Power” project, which is expected to be finished in two years, will start once Sindh Department of Energy officials sign an agreement with Go Energy pvt ltd. K-Electric will receive 500 Mega Watt of electricity from this project via the network of Sindh Transmission and Dispatch Company (STDC).
The province’s power users will profit from this system, according to Sindh Energy Minister Nasir Hussain Shah, who made this statement during the signing ceremony.
