ISLAMABAD: As tensions between the PPP and the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) increase, senior PTI leader Asad Qaiser asked the PPP to halt “friendly fire” and introduce a no-confidence resolution in the National Assembly on Monday.
Asad Qaiser told the Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari-led party that the PTI will support a motion of no-confidence against the Shehbaz Sharif-led government in a speech to the lower chamber of parliament following a walkout by PPP legislators.
The two main ruling parties at the center, the PPP and PML-N, have been in a heated verbal sparring match lately over issues like flood relief, water supplies, and the effectiveness of their respective province administrations in Sindh and Punjab.
