ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court permitted live streaming of the hearing on the appeals against the 26th Amendment to the Constitution on Tuesday.
The development occurs after nine months, when the petitions against the constitutional changes were heard by an eight-member Constitutional Bench led by Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan.
Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan said, “We are all serving the nation, so things have to be managed.” Speaking on the unanimous decision of the court to allow the hearing to be streamed on the SC’s YouTube channel, Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail stated: “It is a big case, we will handle it in an orderly manner.”
