Students have received assurances from the state administration that they would receive justice. The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Jharkhand is looking into the claims related to the test. Over a dozen individuals have been taken into custody. Additionally, after candidates questioned the selection process, investigators are looking into the involvement of a private organization that administered portions of the exam. The administration decided to cancel the exam in question and two others after negotiating with demonstrators on Sunday. According to reports, three JPSC members also quit. This followed the resignation of JPSC chairman L Khiangte on July 22. On Monday, he was taken into custody after being questioned during the inquiry. However, demonstrators claim that a number of requests are yet unfulfilled, the most important of which is a probe into the irregularities.
