Regarding the major policy decisions in Punjab, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) requested on Tuesday that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) include the party in its ranks.
According to sources, the PML-N and PPP had protested to one another. “If you [PML-N] want to keep us [PPP] away from the key decisions, then we can sit on separate seats in Punjab.”
In addition, the PPP has lodged a complaint with the PML-N for failing to consult the province parliamentary party over the decision of the electricity bill subsidies.
Senior Punjab Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb promised to give PPP MPs the same financial support as PML-N leaders.
