The magazine Dazed provided a rough definition, stating that “daring handsome men tend to be more svelte than muscular, with more pinched, angular features.” Even though they are frequently not particularly attractive, this just makes them more alluring.”
“Women long for someone who is loyal, unconventionally attractive with sharp eyes and angular faces, otherwise known as a hot rodent boyfriend,” the Daily Mail added, noting that personality is another important consideration.

Patti Stanger, a matchmaker, told News that overall, the trend is positive.
“I think it’s fantastic that women are discovering a diversity of traits in guys and that we are eschewing the traditional classic appearances. “Perhaps, women will also benefit from this,” Stanger stated.
