Commander of the Bahrain National Guard, General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Isa Bin Salman Al-Khalifa, met with Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu in Islamabad today.
During the conference, many areas of mutual interest were explored in order to strengthen government-to-government cooperation in the field of emerging technologies, with a focus on drone technology and cyber and networking coordination.
The Air Chief emphasized the two countries’ long-standing brotherhood.
The Chief of the Air Staff discussed the broad contours of the PAF’s modernization program, which aims to enhance present operational capacity in cyber, space, artificial intelligence, electronic warfare, and niche technologies.
He also discussed many ongoing projects related to the Pakistan Air Force’s operational construct, force aims, and force structure plans, with a focus on future warfare.
The Air Chief emphasized the two countries’ long-standing religious and historical links, as well as their deep fraternal bonds.
According to the Chief of the Air Staff, “Pakistan highly values its robust diplomatic, economic and defence partnership with Bahrain, marked by a convergence on critical issues related to regional peace, security and stability.”
