RAWALPINDI: In a fresh Toshakhana reference, an accountability court in Rawalpindi on Monday prolonged the judicial remand of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his spouse, Bushra Bibi.
The hearing for the new Toshakhana reference concerning a jewelry set that the Saudi crown prince donated was presided over by Judge Javed Rana of the accountability court.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor and the couple’s attorneys were present for the hearing.
The latest reference concerns a case involving a set of jewelry that the Saudi crown prince sent to the former first lady Bushra during Imran’s tenure as prime minister of the nation from 2018 to 2022.
