The defending NFC East champions defeated Big Blue 20-15 on Thursday in New Jersey to win their sixth straight game.
After a holding flag was raised, Rico Dowdle scored a touchdown for Dallas, followed by a long touchdown by CeeDee Lamb. The Giants had taken the lead earlier with a field goal. Before the half ended, Big Blue added two more field goals, leaving them behind 14–9 going into the locker room.
In the second half, the Giants marched down the field but were again stuffed, forcing them to kick their fourth field goal of the game. However, Brandon Aubrey responded immediately.
Early in the fourth quarter, Greg Joseph made his fifth field goal of the game, illustrating the G-Men’s continued struggles to get the ball in the end zone. With less than seven minutes remaining, though, Aubrey struck again, putting Dallas ahead 20–15.
