Faisal, Nazir Hasnain, and Anwar, all from Lahore, were rescued from the grips of traffickers who had tricked them into believing they might travel to Europe.

Their ordeal, which included unimaginable suffering and threats of organ harvesting, came to an end when they were reunited with their family in Lahore.

According to the FIA, the victims were apprehended in Iran under false pretenses, with traffickers taking advantage of their fantasies of a better life overseas. The offenders used heinous tactics, such as mailing torture films to extort large sums of money from the victims’ families, demonstrating the depths of their depravity.

“It was a living nightmare,” one of the survivors said, remembering the horrors they faced during their incarceration.”We were tricked, tortured, and forced to fear for our lives. But, owing to the Pakistani Embassy and FIA’s tireless efforts, we have been rescued from this trauma.”

The traffickers’ elaborate network of deception included a complicated route from Iran to Turkey, then to Italy and Greece, all disguised as migration. However, their voyage was unexpectedly halted when officials interfered, foiling the traffickers’ malicious plans.

Zaheer Abbas, Talha, and Sarwar, identified as major figures in the trafficking network, are now facing impending retribution as law enforcement agencies step up their efforts to catch them. These culprits, who were from the Hafizabad area, took advantage of unsuspecting pilgrims, drawing them into a trap of exploitation and misery. In view of this heinous crime, the Ministry of Home Affairs has committed swift action against human trafficking networks operating within Pakistan’s borders. The FIA is conducting thorough raids, aided by public assistance, to guarantee that those involved are quickly brought to justice.
