More than a year after suffering more than 30 broken bones in the accident, the 53-year-old American actor is the most recent addition to the Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery group.

Formerly revealed cast members include Kerry Washington from Scandal, Glenn Close from Fatal Attraction, Irish actor Andrew Scott from Ripley and Fleabag, British actor Josh O’Connor from Challengers and The Crown, and Cailee Spaeny from Priscilla.
While the narrative is still unknown, director Johnson stated on X last week that the movie is “about to go into production.”
Renner, who is most known for his role as Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, recuperated from his wounds by appearing in the drama series Mayor of Kingstown.
