Sardar Saleem Haider, the governor of Punjab, congratulated Senate Chairman Yousuf Raza Gillani on Friday on his son Ali Qasim Gilani’s victory in the NA-148 by-election.
Details indicate that the governor of Punjab spoke with Yousuf Raza Gilani over the phone. Haider gave his comments on the event, saying: “Qasim Gilani’s victory is a sign that the masses are only trusting the PPP.”
“The masses have been impressed with our friendly policies,” he stated.
Haider stated: “The PPP will continue to serve the masses under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari.”
