Sen. James Risch, a Republican from Idaho, intends to propose a bill on Wednesday that would resume the updating of Veterans Affairs buildings following their delay due to President Biden’s much-discussed Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
The Waiving Arbitrary and Inconsistent Veteran Home Eligibility and Requirements Act, often known as the waiver Act, mandates that Denis McDonough, the secretary of veterans affairs, provide waivers for VA projects that have been approved nationwide, including three in Idaho.
