A confidential settlement on the division of assets, spousal support, and custody of their two daughters, Willa, age four, and Delphine, age two, was also approved by Florida judge Gina Beovides.
He deemed Jonas, 35, and British-born actress Turner, 28, who is best known for her appearances in X-Men and Game of Thrones,’ marriage “irretrievably broken”.
As the court concluded the conditions of the divorce, she declared that the couple’s agreement—particularly their parenting plan—was optimal for the family.
The divorce, which was filed a year ago, ends pretty quickly after it temporarily turned tense and appeared to be going to take a long time.
The couple got together on Instagram, started dating in 2016, and was married in a private ceremony in a chapel in Las Vegas in May 2019.
In Jonas’s September 2023 divorce filing, the couple shared a note on Instagram the next day that said, “After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage.”
“There are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly this is a united decision,” the joint statement continued.
Turner stated in court filings the same month that their marriage broke down “very suddenly” during a fight.
