The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) administration voiced dissatisfaction over not receiving an invitation to the next Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) supreme committee session, accusing the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)-led federal government of making “biased moves”.
On May 25 (Saturday), Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called the SIFC meeting to order at 11:45 a.m., but it soon became apparent that KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur had not received an invitation.
Chief Minister Gandapur was not formally invited to the SIFC session, although chief ministers from Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan have been invited.
