On this Saturday, the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awal 1447 AH, Pakistan is commemorating with the highest respect Eid Milad un Nabi, the anniversary of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
As the faithful celebrate this holy day and pledge to change their lives in line with the Sunnah and divine directives, Eid Milad un Nabi signifies a renewed devotion to Rehmatul-lil-Alameen Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
In observance of the teachings of the final Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who was sent as a blessing for all of humanity, the day is celebrated annually on the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awal, which falls in the third month of the Islamic calendar.
With a 21-gun salute in the province capitals and a 31-gun salute in the federal capital, this historic day began.
