Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said on Friday that the Prime Minister’s Office has launched an investigation into a letter sent by the Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
During a weekly briefing on Friday, Foreign Secretary Saira Sajjad Qazi emphasized Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to safeguarding human rights both nationally and globally at the Human Rights Council’s 55th session.

She reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to working with the United Nations Human Rights Mechanism to protect human rights around the world.
Furthermore, the Foreign Secretary asked the High Commissioner’s Office to keep an eye on the deteriorating human rights situation in India’s illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
