Rumors circulated that Usher’s long-time friend Justin Bieber will join him for his Super Bowl performance. However, many were upset when Justin did not appear throughout the performance.
According to insiders, Usher made numerous attempts to persuade the Beauty and the Beat hitmaker, but he simply “wasn’t feeling it.” The Yeah crooner apparently attempted to arrange a performance to remember their long friendship.
“There is no ill blood between Usher and Justin. Justin just wasn’t into it — he wasn’t feeling it,” an insider told Page Sex.
Justin, 29, attended the Super Bowl with his wife Hailey, 27. The couple could be seen watching the game from Michael Rubin’s $2.5 million suite at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday.
Scooter Braun discovered the Baby crooner, and Usher played a significant role in his rise to prominence. In 2010, the two collaborated on “Somebody to Love.”
During Usher’s performance, guest stars Lil Jon, Ludacris, Jermaine Dupri, Will.i.am Alicia Keys, and H.E.R. rocked the stage.
