The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills 27–24 on Sunday to progress to the American Football Conference (AFC) Championship Game.
The spectators anticipated a thrilling face-off, and it did not disappoint. However, running back Isiah Pacheco’s incredible touchdown to swing the tide of the game in the Chiefs’ favor was one of the game’s highlights.
With 14:20 left in the fourth quarter, former Rutgers Scarlet Knights standout Pacheco scored a four-yard touchdown run to give the Chiefs a 27-24 lead over the Buffalo Bills, according to USA Today.
The Chiefs won the game and moved on to the AFC Championship Game thanks to the score.
By the halfway point of the fourth quarter, Pacheco had amassed 86 yards of rushing and one touchdown on 13 attempts.
Pacheco survived a forceful tackle at the finish of his strong, physical run, but momentum carried him over the goal line.
Following the touchdown, the video shows pop sensation Taylor Swift, who is currently dating tight end Travis Kelce, Pacheco’s teammate, attending the game and rejoicing.
