Late Thursday, the US Department of Defense reported that two Venezuelan military planes had flown close to a US Navy ship in international seas.
On Tuesday, the US military murdered 11 people on a Venezuelan ship in the Caribbean that President Donald Trump said was transporting illegal drugs and was part of a drug cartel he labeled a “terrorist organization.” The attack has been questioned by legal authorities.
Venezuela is “strongly advised not to pursue any further effort to obstruct, deter, or interfere with counter-narcotics and counter-terror operations carried out by the US military,” according to a statement released by the Defense Department on Thursday. No more information was included in the announcement.
