Thirteen people—seven civilians and six police officers—were hurt in a remote-controlled bomb attack on a police van in South Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), a hospital official informed News on Monday.
The explosive went off on a police van along Kir Kot Road in Wana Rustam Bazar, according to police officials.
According to the officials, they arrived at the scene of the tragedy as soon as the blast was reported, and they assisted in moving the injured people to the District Headquarters Hospital Wana.
Dera Ismail Khan is now home to one of the attack victims who is gravely injured.
Both citizens and law enforcement officers were among the injured transported to the hospital, according to Medical Superintendent Dr. Hamad Mahmood, who spoke with Geo News.
