According to sources, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) established a committee consisting of four members on Friday to look into a “threatening post” that former prime minister Imran Khan posted on his previous Twitter account, X.
The team would be led by senior personnel from the Cyber Crime Wing located in Islamabad.
The PTI founder is the subject of an inquiry by the Cyber Crime Wing team, which has been sent to the Adiala Jail, according to sources. The PTI founder will be questioned by the inquiry team, which consists of technical and investigative authorities, over the threatening tweet shared from his official X account.
Because of the post’s “highly controversial and significant concerns,” the authorities have taken appropriate action.
