Following their approval to compete by the International Olympic Committee, both took home gold in Paris.

Woods wrote on X, external, “Since I replied to this article I’ve had numerous death threats to myself and my unborn child.”
“My home has been threatened, my employers have been called to fire me, and there have been questions about my gender (I guess that settles that one).
It is only fair that issues be raised when test findings differ and have the potential to jeopardize someone else’s safety in a setting where fairness is paramount.
