Security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in general area Sambaza of Zhob district in Balochistan, killing three terrorists, according to a statement from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). Major Babar Khan from Mianwali accepted death for protecting the homeland.
The statement says, “Three terrorists were sent to hell as a result of own troops effectively engaging the terrorist location during the operation.” From the dead terrorists, weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also found.”
A spokesman for the Pakistan Army stated that Major Babar Khan, a 33-year-old resident of District Mianwali, led his soldiers from the front during the fierce gunfight, made the ultimate sacrifice, and accepted shahadat.
According to a statement from the ISPR DG, a sanitation operation is being carried out to get rid of any further terrorists that may be in the region.
