Using a shot that we have all played on the golf course many times, Tiger Woods demonstrated his humanity.
Playing in the Genesis Invitational at Riviera on Thursday, Woods made yet another comeback to the world of competitive golf.
The 15-time major champion finished the day with a one-over 72 score and five birdies. However, a terrible shot on hole eighteen prevented him from shooting even par.
Woods had just completed a drive in the fairway and was around 180 yards out. Thus, he was striking an iron shot that he had struck around a billion times.
But for all the wrong reasons, this one sticks out from the others.
As soon as Woods struck a dead shank, he realized it was unsightly. Prior to completing his swing, Woods released his
club, allowing it to drop from his grasp.
The ball entered the trees after only 71 yards.
