According to Fox News, Senator Tim Scott proposed to Mindy Noce on Saturday night on Kiawah Island, South Carolina, and they are now engaged.
During an appearance on Sunday Night in America with Trey Gowdy, Scott, 58, announced his engagement. The second most significant choice Scott made after deciding to become a Christian was his engagement.
Speaking about his conversations with former President Donald Trump for an endorsement, Scott told Gowdy, “Going to the beach and getting on one knee, and asking Mindy to marry me was so much more important than anything else. I wanted to make sure that that sacred day would not be disturbed by anything political.”
When Scott was running for president in the 2024 election, he presented Noce in a debate back in November. They supposedly became friends over Bible study when they first met at church around a year ago.
Following his endorsement of Donald Trump for the 2024 presidential contest, Scott announced his engagement. Scott, who dropped out of his own presidential campaign in November, is the third Republican who has backed the outgoing president for a second term in the last week.
Later on Sunday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis endorsed Trump for president and withdrew his presidential bid.
Scott remarked, “We need a president who understands the American people are sick and tired of being sick and tired, we need,” to which the assembly gave the response, “Donald Trump.”
“It’s time for us to unite our party so that we make sure that the only target we’re talking about is firing Joe Biden,” Scott later stated on Fox News.
“We cannot wait another four years as a nation. “I doubt we could tolerate a further ten months,” he remarked. “The best way for us to get rid of Joe Biden as our president is to unite our party now behind Donald Trump.”
