ISLAMABAD: In response to the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan’s (TLP) announcement that it will march towards Islamabad on Friday (today), authorities have positioned containers and banned mobile data services, causing problems for inhabitants of Islamabad and Rawalpindi in terms of communication and transportation.
On the one hand, inhabitants of Islamabad are having trouble accessing the internet on their cellphones because to the containers that have been placed at the city’s entry gates.
The interior ministry’s announcement on Thursday stated, “The Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control has accorded approval to suspend 3G/4G services in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi […] until further orders.”
