The price of 24-carat gold jumped by Rs 4,100 per tola to Rs 388,100, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. Additionally, the price of ten grams of 24-carat gold increased by Rs 3,514, to Rs 332,733.
Domestic gold prices continued to rise, rising Rs 3,222 to Rs 305,016 for 10 kilos of 22-carat gold.
International gold rates are rising in tandem with local gold prices. One ounce gold in the global market became $41 more expensive, now trading at $3,654.
