US President Donald Trump stated that he viewed Pakistan’s Field Marshal Asim Munir’s commendation of him as a “honor.”
Trump said the Pakistani Field Marshal had praised his role in halting the Pakistan-India conflict, which eventually saved millions of lives, while addressing US military chiefs on Tuesday.
“He said if the war had taken place, it would have been much worse,” Trump added. The US president went on to say that he was positively impacted by Field Marshal Munir’s comments. Trump remarked, “I really liked his comment,”
In order to bolster his claims, Trump added that Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Munir had made these remarks in front of two generals and other people.
