During their official visit to the United Kingdom, US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump honored the late monarch by laying a wreath at her tomb on Wednesday.
The Trumps honored the Queen at Windsor Castle, where King Charles III, Queen Camilla, and other senior royals formally welcomed the pair earlier in the day, according to a statement posted on Instagram by the Royal Family.
The post’s description said, “The President and Mrs. Trump lay a wreath at Queen Elizabeth II’s tomb this afternoon. During their 2019 State Visit, the President and First Lady visited the late Queen.
