In a Truth Social post on Friday, US President Donald Trump stated that there is no justification for the scheduled two-week meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in South Korea. He also mentioned that the United States is considering imposing a significant hike in taxes on Chinese products.
According to Trump, China has been writing to nations all over the world announcing its intention to impose export restrictions on all rare earth production components.
“Nobody has ever seen anything like this but, essentially, it would ‘clog’ the Markets, and make life difficult for virtually every Country in the World, especially for China” , according to the article on Truth Social.
