A 28 year old mother of four was attacked inside her home during the night of 11 June in Begusarai district. She reported that five men attacked her, tied her hands, gagged her, and stripped her. She also said they used sharp objects during the assault and injured her chest when she resisted. Family response and discovery The woman said her husband first thought her sounds were from an animal. When he became suspicious, he tried to check on her. The house had been locked from the outside. A neighbour later helped open the door. The family then found her in a critical condition and immediately raised alarm.
