Ishaq Dar, the deputy prime minister and foreign minister, stated unequivocally on Friday that the 20-point peace plan for Gaza that US President Donald Trump unveiled differed from the document that the Muslim nations, including Pakistan, had put out.
Speaking at a National Assembly session, DPM Dar stated, “The 20-point [Gaza peace plan] made public by President Trump are truly not ours and changes have been made to our draft.”
The comments take place in the context of US President Donald Trump’s 20-point plan for peace in Gaza, which calls for a ceasefire, the exchange of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli detention for hostages held by Hamas, a phased Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, Hamas disarmament, and the installation of a transitional government overseen by an international organization.
