The initial earthquake vibrations were reported in Quetta and its neighboring areas about 5:35 a.m., according to the Met Department’s National Seismic Monitoring Centre in Islamabad.
The tremors were also felt along the Pakistan-Afghan border, including Nushki, Chaman, Chagai, Qilla Abdullah, Dalbandin, Pishin, and other nearby locations.
An earthquake occurred on 19-03-2024 at 05:35 PST.

According to the Met Office, the earthquake was also felt along Pakistan’s border with Iran.
According to the national seismic monitoring agency, the earthquake measured 5.4 on the Richter Scale and had a depth of 35 kilometers.
The epicentre of the earthquake was 150 km southwest of Quetta.
Another earthquake struck the same area shortly after, at 06:24am. That earthquake measured 4.5 on the Richter Scale and had a depth of 136 kilometers.
