The main event of the UFC’s first fight night in the Kingdom will feature the middleweights.
The 29-year-old Chimaev, who has won 13 bouts straight, will take on Australian former champion Whittaker in what promises to be his hardest test yet.
Later this year, the victor will take on South Africa’s Dricus du Plessis, the current champion.
Alexander Volkov and Sergei Pavlovich will compete in an all-Russian heavyweight match on the undercard as well.

Following the Professional Fighters League’s (PFL) inaugural fight night in the area in 2024, this will be the second significant mixed martial arts event in the area.
