The World Happiness Report (WHR) 2024, which was announced on Wednesday, named Finland the world’s happiest country for the seventh time in a row.
This year’s list of the happiest countries was dominated by Nordic nations, with Finland, Denmark, Iceland, and Sweden taking the top four slots.
On the contrary, Afghanistan remains at the bottom of the list of 143 nations examined, since the country has been dealing with persistent humanitarian challenges since the Taliban retook control in 2020.
