Washington: With no Americans on the ground in the Palestinian enclave, the United States would send 200 troops as part of a combined task force for Gaza stability, according to two senior U.S. officials on Thursday.
Speaking to reporters under condition of anonymity, the officials stated that the 200 would form the heart of a task group that would also include representatives from Qatar, Turkey, Egypt’s military, and most likely the United Arab Emirates.
