Former co-stars Candice King and Steven Krueger of The Vampire Diaries and its spinoff, The Originals, are in a romantic mood.
The shocking disclosure was made on Wednesday when Candice posted a touching 2023 recap montage to Instagram that included a tender kiss between her and Steven.
Fans were shocked to learn that both series ended several years ago, and they expressed their shock in the comment section.
“Caroline and Josh were not on my 2023 bingo card, but I’m here for it,” a funny comment was made by a fan.
In April, the couple made hints about their courtship in a US Weekly Day in the Life story about Steven.
Steven posted a picture of himself and other Originals cast members at a nice dinner table, with his arm around Candice.
Steven disclosed in the interview that the ensemble stays close-knit even after the series ends.
Even though they’ve all moved on to new ventures, he said that the cast still finds time to catch up.
At the moment, Steven may be seen playing Coach Ben Scott in the television series Yellowjackets.
For filming, the show transports him to isolated regions of Canada, and Steven expressed awe for the breathtaking settings used in the series.
