Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong of China gave Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif a warm greeting upon his arrival at the airport in Beijing.
A high-level delegation led by Ishaq Dar, the foreign minister and deputy prime minister, as well as other cabinet members and senior officials, joined the premier.
The second half of the PM’s five-day tour to China, which included a comprehensive program highlighting the breadth and depth of Pakistan-China ties, included his visit to Beijing.
The premier, the head of the National People’s Congress Standing Committee, and the president of China will all meet with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Additionally, he is scheduled to attend an event celebrating friendship and business between Pakistan and China and meet with the CEOs of prominent Chinese companies involved in China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects.
It’s possible that the two nations will sign many memorandums of understanding (MoUs) on cooperation in a range of industries.
PM encourages Huawei to make investments in Pakistan in a number of areas
Earlier, while visiting Huawei’s Shenzhen headquarters, Prime Minister Shehbaz extended an invitation to the Chinese tech giant to expand its presence in Pakistan’s Safe City projects and invest in the country’s tax and e-governance sectors.
