Victoria Jones, 34, the daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones, was found dead at the Fairmont San Francisco on Jan. 1 in what authorities suspect was a drug overdose.
Tommy Lee Jones’ family released a statement through News Digital, saying: “We appreciate all of the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. Please respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you.”
Emergency Response and Investigation
The San Francisco Fire Department responded to a medical emergency at the hotel around 2:52 a.m. Paramedics assessed the scene and declared Victoria deceased. 911 audio classified the incident as a “code 3 for the overdose, color change.”
The San Francisco Police Department arrived shortly after at 3:14 a.m. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) confirmed Victoria’s identity but has not released a cause of death. Authorities are continuing their investigation.
Family Background
Victoria was the daughter of Tommy Lee Jones and his ex-wife Kimberlea Cloughley, who were married from 1981 to 1996. The couple also shares a son, Austin.
Victoria largely stayed out of the public eye, though she appeared briefly in several films, including projects alongside her father. Her acting credits include Men in Black II, The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, One Tree Hill, and The Homesman. She last appeared with her father at the premiere of Just Getting Started in 2017.
